There are rule placards on every surface in this place- the towel rack, the fridge, on a cookbook stand in the kitchen, by the coffee maker, the toilet, the bathroom faucet, etc. plus a binder of house rules you’re expected to read through. It’s rather nitpicky and not relaxing. They tell you not to “overuse” towels, bed linens or you’ll be fined. They tell you not to leave any crumbs on the counter, and exactly when to take their garbage bins out for trash day. I found several hairs in the master bathroom of a variety of colors and lengths stuck to the wall or shower. The master suite seems like an addition, with no heat or a/c besides a vent between it and the main part of the house. It was 15 degrees colder and my baby and I were freezing in the master the first night. The main part of the house was cleaner and more comfortable. I’m from Yakima and come back often to visit my terminally ill mother. All I look for is clean and low maintenance stays- this is not one I’d use again.
