This was the third house we stayed in after staying in Palm Cove and Port Douglas on our 3 week trip. It was by far the best The quality, location, pool and local area was fantastic. Would highly recommend. Andrea and Jim were amazing hosts and their attention to detail and quality of fixtures and furnishings was top class. Don’t dismiss the location if you feel Cairns is too busy. It’s location is a “ little bit of paradise!” Thanks Andrea we loved our stay!!

If you’re looking at other places to stay, don’t bother! You won’t find anything better! Andrea was so patient and flexible with our 1 a.m. arrival. Everything was well explained. The view was incredible and the overall feel was clean and inviting, with lots of space to spread out and relax. The pool was an added bonus. The house is up on a hill, which adds to the serenity and beauty, yet it’s an easy Uber ride to downtown or the airport. I was disappointed to leave.

Our stay at the Junction Street property was nothing short of spectacular! From the get-go, Andrea demonstrated impeccable hospitality, always being super responsive to all our inquiries, ensuring our experience was seamless. The property itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers all the comforts of a home away from home. What stood out the most for our kids was the swimming pool. Our kids absolutely loved it and spent countless hours having fun and making memories. Waking up each morning to the breathtaking view of the mountains added an element of serenity to our stay. It was truly an amazing sight to behold and a wonderful way to start each day. All in all, this property is a gem, and Andrea's attentiveness only elevates the entire experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway with all the amenities to make your stay memorable. Thank you, Andrea, for hosting us. We can't wait to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it is a great house that has been set up with a family in mind. From the bedrooms, to the kitchen, DVDs and the pool toys, our kids (aged 9-12) were constantly occupied and we relaxed. Even though the weather wasn’t what we were hoping for, the kids were in the heated pool as many times as they could every day! Andrea was extremely responsive, and her father so helpful on arrival & departure. The location is great. The botanical garden nearby is amazing, and we can’t recommend local restaurant Guerilla’s enough (we had to visit it twice during our short stay). Andrea provided some great other dining options as well, and her recommendation of the local butcher (excellent) led to some great BBQs on the deck. Just avoid Ocean World Seafood Market in Sheridan St - that was terrible… We had a wonderful, relaxing time and recommend this as a terrific place to stay. Thank you Andrea.

Fijn, groot en zeer geriefelijk huis temidden van prachtig groen. Hoe fijn om ‘s morgens wakker te worden met geluiden van tropische vogels! Dankjewel ook om ons zo gastvrij te ontvangen met melk, bubbels, koekjes en een mand vol fruit! Bovendien is het de perfecte uitvalsbasis om the Great Barrier Reef of Daintree Forrest te bezoeken. Dankjewel Andrea, James en Jim voor het fijne verblijf. We komen graag terug!
