Me and my partner stayed here for my partners birthday. The place was really cozy and comfortable and was exactly what we needed. Diane was helpful guiding us to the property and was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back.

Absolutely beautiful little place to stay, surrounded by nature in a truly stunning part of the country. A very cosy and warm place to stay. Lots to see and do from the doorstep, lots of walks to go on. Great place to stay, will be back again!

Great cabin, in beautiful surroundings. Lovely cosy cabin but plenty of space too, nice balance of feeling homely but with good sized rooms. Kitchen well equipped (and well used by myself!) and everything you could need was there. Nice walks straight from the bottom of the lane, lots to explore in the surrounding are including the historic lime kilns the area is famous for. The villages and towns in the area are beautiful especially Stanhope with the open air heated swimming pool. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. *Vodafone customers might find the reception a little patchy at times - I found as soon as I was on a walk or drive 4G was there in no time. Other networks are probably fine. This is in a nice peaceful valley and it had no impact on my trip at all!

I had a long weekend at Dianne’s place. I was looking for some peace and quiet and solitude in beautiful surroundings but without completely sacrificing all creature comforts. The place exceeded my expectations in all regards and Diane proved to be extremely helpful providing lots of additional information.
