Instant relaxation! What a gem of a place Bruet Gites is. The hosts, Chris and Donna are warm and welcoming, full of knowledge about the local area with nothing being too much trouble. Our gite was the perfect holiday home - clean, comfortable with everything we needed for our two week stay. The on-site facilities were perfect with a gorgeous pool, activities for the kids with space to sit and soak up the tranquil French countryside. The local area is stunning with quaint towns/villages, rivers and an array of activities all within close proximity - perfect for families and couples alike. We haven't hesitated in already recommending to friends. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable.

We verbleven voor 10 dagen met onze baby in het logement van Chris en Donna. Alles was perfect voorzien van inrichting, ontspanning, zwembad, tuin... met slechts 3 andere verhuurde verblijven kun je ongestoord genieten van je vakantie. Er is ook vlot iets te doen in de buurt en de gastvrijheid van Chris en Donna zijn een meerwaarde!

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Lovely bottle of wine in our Gite, along with milk and a some teabags, which were both very welcome after travelling for 2 days! Accommodation was spotlessly clean and had all the equipment you would expect to find or need. We were also provided with a bag of charcoal for the BBQ. The Gite is in a remote location (which was perfect for us!), but only 5 minutes from the nearest town (Chalais), which had supermarkets, bars, restaurants and a local market on Mondays. Swimming pool is a lovely size and all precautions necessary for COVID were adhered to, we had our own area of the pool allocated to us. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the social room due to the restrictions in place, but this would be a great room at any other time. The games room had a table tennis table, table football and various books. Our hosts were really helpful, their local knowledge of restaurants, bars and places to visit was invaluable (if you come to this accommodation, ensure you go to Poiriers / Samtho restaurants - highly recommended). We also went out on day trips to Brantome and St Emillion, both within an hours journey. Aubeterre Sur Dronne and St Aulaye also both within easy reach. Thank you for our lovely holiday!

Gite au calme dans un endroit reposant avec tout sur place: grande piscine, tennis de table, babyfoot.. Nous avons apprécié le grand terrain ou les enfants ont pu jouer comme ils voulaient, la piscine. Les hôtes habitent juste a cote. Ils sont à la fois discrets et disponibles en cas de besoin. Nous recommandons.
