Lovely accommodation down a quiet cul de sac. Very well equipped kitchen, ideal for being self-sufficient. Hope to return when I next attend a multi day run in Walton.

My sister & I stayed here for over a week while visiting relatives in the area. It was just right for the two of us. I can’t speak to the convenience of the location with regard to London, but it is ideal for Surrey & is very convenient to Heathrow. The place is a converted garage with stairs to a sleeping loft, aptly named “The Boathouse” due to the main house’s location right on the River Thames. However, you cannot see the water from anywhere in the boathouse. It looks exactly like the photos and has all the listed amenities. The beds are very comfortable, & the water pressure for showers is great. I will say I do not recommend two or more adults taking back to back showers (unless you’re a military 3-minute shower type person) because the water heater tank is rather small (not instant-hot). However, I realize that we, as Americans, are used to super-sized everything. We stayed in late summer & fortunately the weather was mild. There is no air-con and there are no window screens.

Lovely little bnb however being trying to sleep in the bedroom which is in the roof. It was unbearable to sleep with the heat, although there was a small air con unit it’s not sufficient enough. It really ruined our sleep for all of us including the dog !! Also I would say to read properly about pets as they charge separately and goes missed frequently according to the owners so just to watch that. It’s also a lot smaller than expected however if the kids are small or just the two of you it’s fine. We would stay again but not when it’s hot !!
