From beginning to end this AirBnb did not meet our expectations . On check in day I messaged the host to enquire how I would check in and I was never contacted back. I used the telephone number and the number wasn’t in use. We managed to work out where we were staying by the photos on the Airbnb listing! We booked it in October 2018. A 2 bedroomed apartment, that sleeps 5. When we arrived, they did not have that for us. We were expected to squeeze into a 1 bedroom apartment, we didn’t even have room to put the spare bed up. When I complained we were given an additional room. The spare beds had bedding provided, but I had to make it up myself, not unusual, noting had the sofa bed been down, we couldn’t have fitted in the room. BUT! I had to put the duvet in the duvet cover and the pillow in the pillow case, so I made the bed completely . We were told that breakfast was included. Then when I came to check out that I had to pay for it and I owed tourist tax. No tourist tax was listed on the additional costs, on the listing. We were told breakfast was included by a member of staff. I was then told that I hadn’t paid for the apartment. That I had only pre-blocked the payment , which i have never even heard of of when travelling on Airbnb! It was clean, the staff tried their best. It seems that these apartments are in conjunction with the a local hotel, so every question etc had to be ran passed another place. The breakfast buffet was good .
