In our opinion, Bloomfield is the most beautiful town in the county. If you look at a map, it is located in the heart of the county. Ideal location to explore Prince Edward County known for its cycling trails, wineries, breweries, farm to table food and quality antique shops.
Bloomfield has small local shops, restaurants, a speak easy down the street and let's not forget the famous Slickers ice cream. ( We recommend the camp fire ice cream) Walk 5 minutes down the street and you will find Bloomfield Public House that offers a delicious menu. Chef Michael Smith opened Flame + Smith restaurant and bar in July 2018 to bring some of his dishes from Toronto to the county.
Looking for TLC or relaxation?
Book a massage, mani pedi and other services at Bloomfield Beauty Co. just down the street. You can even sip on bubbly or espresso during your service. Book ahead of your trip to get a spot!
Art
Located 5 minutes from Huff Estate winery and Oeno Art gallery. You can sip on a glass of wine while walking through the gallery and outdoor sculpture which we highly recommend. Check out the art trail in PEC. You can drive or rent a bike to explore local artisans, painters and talented artists in the county.
Feel like having a movie night? During summer months, Mustang's Drive-In is a 5 minute drive and plays all the latest movies that are in theater!
Like the outdoors?
If you want to get outside and be active, there are new tennis courts in Bloomfield just 5 minutes away from the apartment. You will find 2 golf courses in the area as well as 2 bike shops that rent bikes if you're interested in riding around. We recommend the art or taste trail or a mix of both. It's a great way to get out in the county and meet local artists, winemakers and see the landscape while being active.
Location, location, location!
The sandbanks are 9 km from the apartment. Get there early if you want a good spot at the beach or at the dunes.
The apartment is a 10 min drive to Wellington or a 10 minute drive to Picton, 10 minute drive to West Lake.
People in the county are friendly and welcoming.

You can park on the street or on the property. If you want to go out for the evening, please don't drink and drive. There are local taxi companies and we leave their contact information available.
