If you wish to step away from city life and have peaceful "me" moments, this is the house you want to be in. The house, once you step inside is ALWAYS welcoming, at any given moment. It is very uniquely decorated, showcasing the past as well recent times. How your day goes by, you could always find a good spot to relax, inside and/or outside, weather permitting. Pool was clean but we didn't use it because of temps. Patio had nice sitting arrangement but we ended up using the pier which extended to the beach. That was my favorite spot with their provided Chairs. Could go for a short walk on the beach once the water receded. House has usual amenities like kitchen related, wifi, blankets to relax on sofas, etc. If you wish to step outside, there's a good Coffee place, @10 min drive time. Of course, Beaufort downtown is a good for relaxing, @20-25 mins drive. If you drive at night time, please be mindful of unpaved roads and entrance will appear suddenly because of no street lights.

We had a perfect stay at Gary and Mallorie's beachfront home! We were a total of eight people plus two infants (three families in total). Our bedrooms were all comfortable and well-furnished. In fact, the entire house was well-furnished! There was plenty of seating for everyone and plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy our meals. I drank my morning coffee every day sitting outside on the patio enjoying the view of the water! We saw dolphins swim by a couple of times and enjoyed watching the boats coming and going. The last set of deck stairs leading down to the beach are a little tricky to navigate -- the first step down is short and narrow and there is no railing helping those of us with slight mobility issues (however, my husband was always available with a hand). The kitchen is well-supplied with dishes, pots, pans, a dishwasher that works well, plenty of silverware, etc. Condiments were available in the refrigerator and in the cabinets. We stayed at this lovely home across from Parris Island to attend our son’s marine graduation. The house was spacious and comfortable. We absolutely enjoyed our family time together there. Our new marine enjoyed watching the show across the water as a new group of marine recruits were enduring the crucible. We could see the flares every few minutes. He sat quietly to reflect on the quiet, and private beach in the back yard. Thanks to Mallorie and Gary for the quick responses to my many questions. We look forward to a warmer weather trip in the future.

The house was beautiful! The beach was private and perfect for children. We created so many wonderful memories. I definitely recommend this place for families!

We had a great time staying hear for our family vacation. The house is beautiful with a great view of the water. In the pictures the rooms looked like they would be tight with all the furniture but to our surprise the house was very spacious and open. The beds were very comfortable as were the couches. I absolutely loved sitting on the back patio, listening to the waves and watching the sun go down
