When we arrived, there was no running water in the house, which means you couldn't wash up or even use the bathroom. I contacted the number we had for help, and I will say they were immediately responsive. The local manager came right over and her husband came within 2 hours to fix the plumbing. The issue was they had shut off the water in the winter for repairs but did not turn it back on before we arrived, which gets to the primary issue. No prep work had been done to receive guests. The porch and deck were covered with leaves and debris from winter. The lawn was unkempt. The dishes were semi clean because there is no dishwasher. The code on the door for entrance was complex (reduce to 4 numbers not 10). The linens were probably washed last winter when the last guests checked out, but not recently. The flip side is the local manager was responsive and very friendly. Not a place that reflects a great deal of care and concern for the home or anticipates guests.

Lovely home. Lovely back deck with views of lake. Very close to Couer d'alene trail, which was our focus. Overall a great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed the lake view from the large deck. Umbrellas provided shade. A Hawaiian food truck, Rowan’s Island Grill, selling yummy food (we loved the ahi poke bowl and grilled pineapple) is right out back. Right next store is the fudge and ice cream shop. And right down the road is the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes where you can bike or walk it all off amid gorgeous scenery. The nearby bars can get lively in the evening, but we had no trouble sleeping. Kitchen is well appointed. Parking is ample. The single bathroom was fine for the four of us. The only shortcoming for us was the exhaust/compressor unit next door that could be noisy at times.

Nice view from the back deck. We had a barking dog next door all night one of our two nights. In house instructions stated filling the dishwasher before we left, there is no dishwasher (instructions for another house?) Booking description stated places to eat, bike rental for the route around the lake, creamery-ALL of which are closed Mon-Wed, the exact days we booked. I don’t believe the booking company has a local person to oversee this home or surely they would have recognized that our stay coincided with a closed town.
