My mom and I stayed at Kevin and Steve’s for a long weekend and had an absolute blast. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. The bed and fold out couch were both comfortable, and we had plenty of hot water and towels. The location was beautiful and peaceful, and the hosts were extremely helpful. The area is very quiet, and we saw an eagle and LOTS of hummingbirds. Steve and Kevin are very friendly and gave us a tour of the property. We were also able to walk around the neighborhood and down to the boat landing, where there is a nice beach. We ventured to both Ashland and Bayfield, and they were a very easy drive from the cabin. We highly recommend the Black Cat coffee shop and Ashland Baking Co. We both had such a nice time and we will definitely be back! Thanks!

Had a great stay! The cottage was adorable, clean, and had everything we needed! When we arrived there were fresh baked cookies, which were delicious and very much appreciated! Kevin and Steve were very responsive, answered all questions, and provided many suggestions. Had an issue with mosquitos which is no fault of Kevin or Steve. All the rain this spring has made a lot of breeding ground. Would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a peaceful retreat. A 30-minute drive in any direction will get you to awesome parks, trails, and/or beaches. It’s exactly what we were looking for!

Our stay at the Norrsken Scandinavian Cottage was everything we hoped it would be and more. The space was clean and cozy and the view of Lake Superior was so beautiful! Kevin and Steve were amazing hosts and struck a great balance between being friendly and giving us privacy. They offered great recommendations of places to see in the area as well. Highly recommend this stay if you want to soak up Lake Superior's beauty!

One of the most thoughtful AirBnB spaces we have ever stayed in! Having traveled the entire country, several continents, countless countries, it's so nice to find a cozy little spot in the woods to retreat to when needed. The cottage was truly the embodiment of hygge - so cozy and well-thought out. Every detail was perfection. I felt like it was our own slice of heaven for the weekend. Kevin & Steve were kind, communicative, and you could tell so much care and attention is put into this little cottage. Perfect experience, would recommend!
