The room with en-suite bathroom is very clean, just like the house itself. There is a wardrobe, mini fridge, kettle. Mr Chheng was very kind and gave me a small electric pot to use. The bed is very comfortable. Mr Chheng maintains his home hotel to a high standard. It was a pleasure to stay in his home. Two local markets are in about 20 and 30 minutes walking distance, and the town centre is in about 45 minutes walking. There are two things, that are beyond Mr. Chheng control, but I'd have preferred to know in advance. I think it's fair to mention them. 1. The road to the house, a small street of abot 3-4 mins walking, is not tarmac. After the rain there were some parts that you had to walk around or jump over. 2. On this small street, dogs from the houses are free to go outside. A couple of times when I walked past their houses, the dogs barked at me. It was a little discomforting. I like to walk. But if you use a Tuk-Tuk, these two things shouldn't be a problem for you at all.

Great family! This is a true homestay in Siem Reap local area. The house is safe, I have all my freedom to walk in and out. It is outside of Old Town/ Pub street area, must take Tuk-Tuk. 20 mins walk to the big local market. The bedding is great, sleep was good, drinking water/AC/TV/ Wifi all good. Relaxing and homey feel. The balcony is facing west, everyday I watch the beautiful sunset in orange color. Small little farm right outside of the house.
