Ms Marta was kind and extremely helpful (as well as a great sense of humor) and her home was incredibly beautiful! The amount of beautiful flowers, plants and wildlife are a true tropical paradise! As for amenities, Everything you need is at your fingertips and the grocery store is on the way from the airport. The pool was wonderful! Especially at night- swimming and listening to the waves from the beach. The trails around the area are great and the private beach with cave is mere minutes walk from the house. (Don't forget to get Pupusas from the restaurant below).

The property and sorroundings are beautiful! The house is really well maintained and the beach is very pretty! Great vacation home for a family!

We've stayed in a number of places during our trip to El Salvador. Some upper end and some lower end. Marta's place is neither of these but is actually my favourite. It just felt so welcoming and comfortable, plus the place itself is just lovely. The private beach is amazing, but we also loved hanging poolside.

A wonderful hideaway that is great for a family or a group of friends. The pool was amazing and the house was spacious and great to provide privacy for each room with the multi-level design. The pictures do not give the beach justice as it is much better than what we saw in the listing. This has a private beach for the small community with a small restaurant and snack shop with great public spaces to enjoy the sunset, picnic tables, hammock spots and plenty of shade and showers and a public pool at the beach as well. Another pleasant surprise was a sea turtle nursery on the beach. It was fun to watch the baby turtles swimming around and learning the ropes, before being released into the wild. The location is a bit remote if you want to be in the thick of the action, but it is conveniently located to explore the areas and there is a list of day trips to provide ideas for what to do if you need more action than just relaxing at the pool or beach. Marta provided great local insight
