Sta Margarita is the touristic part of Rosas, where most of the hotels and vacation apartments are located, as well as the beautiful wide sandy beach.
There are small stores where you will find everything you need for a perfect stay on the beach. There are also bars, restaurants and grocery stores. Everything can be done on foot.
Despite the presence of many tourists, Rosas is a quiet vacation destination, ideal for families and retirees.

Rosas can be reached by bus or cab.
From Barcelona or Girona airport by bus or train to Figueres and from there by bus.
The surrounding area can also be easily explored by bus (e.g. Cadaqués).
Otherwise everything is within walking distance.
A car is not absolutely necessary, but of course offers you more flexibility.
