I’m simply charmed by this BnB. This was our third stay. Where to begin? The 18th century architecture - huge ceiling beams, deep set window sills, canopy bed, blue and white china, antiques. Then, an ample supply of Keurig pods, cream in a glass bottle, biscotti, banana nut cake and fresh fruit. And the uniquely tiled elongated walk-in shower. Finally the magic of entering and leaving the house using the Harry Potteresque skeleton door key, a bit of micro-time travel which always transports me back, for a few seconds, to Revolutionary times. Almost forgot, the sheep, the rooster and hens, and the bucolic setting. I visit Kingston often, and have stayed in a number of fine BnBs, but this one is in a class by itself.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful room. We slept well and feel uplifted by the quiet, beauty and deep history of the place. The pastries and coffee were delicious!

We love this place! Its rustic charm is a welcome retreat for city-dwellers like us from NYC. This was our second time staying in this gorgeous old room in a historic house. Wonderful seating area, a beautiful, hand-planed four-poster canopy bed with gorgeous bedding and a fabulous mattress (so comfortable), classic furnishings, beautiful window treatments, tasteful accents down to the smallest detail. Everything is thought through with this B and B. Though it's right off of major roads, this place is so quiet. It's lovely to walk the property, which has trees, sheep and chickens. A short drive to Kingston proper, it's also really nice that there's nothing else immediately nearby. We'll definitely return again.

Gorgeous room, elegantly designed, with a wonderful sitting area. The majestic four poster bed is super comfortable. Great pillows! Wonderful baked good, fresh fruit, yogurt in the fridge, and even milk in a glass bottle (all of which went beyond our expectations). Great to hear roosters crowing in the morning. Downtown Kingston is a short drive and fabulous town to roam in, with many good restaurants and terrific shops. Our stay was wonderful and we will definitely come back!

My husband and I enjoyed a very peaceful few days in this lovely historical location. We thoroughly enjoyed the sheep and the chickens. So convenient to several historical sites and the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. Everything in our room was perfection and extremely comfortable.
