Wer lieber Stichpunkte liest: - Sauberkeit mangelhaft (Staubig, Pflaster in der Dusche) - Buchungsinfo und Realität gehen auseinander (Handtücher mussten extra gezahlt werden, nur eine Bettdecke und Kopfkissen bei zwei gebuchten Erwachsenen) - Wohnung wird nicht warm im September - Wohnung ist feucht und alle Fenster sind zugestellt sodass man schlecht lüften kann Wir wurden von unserer Gastgeberin nett empfangen. Sie hat uns kurz die Wohnung gezeigt und ein paar Sachen zur Wandheizung und dem Durchlauferhitzer im Bad erklärt. Obwohl in der Beschreibung Handtücher und Bettzeug enthalten sein sollten, wollte die Gastgeberin zusätzlich Geld für die Nutzung von Handtüchern. Dass nur eine Decke und Kopfkissen auf dem Bett lagen, fiel uns zu dem Zeitpunkt noch nicht auf. Gebucht hatten wir aber für zwei! In der Wohnung war es kühl und feucht. Wir haben also die Wandheizung aufgedreht und gehofft dass es wärmer wird. Warm wurde es in der Wohnung eigentlicher. Zu der Jahreszeit scheint die Leistung der Heizung nicht zu reichen und ich friere eigentlich nie. Als wir uns abends auf der Couch unter die bereitgestellte Sofadecke legten, kam dann meine Stauballergie stark zum tragen. Die Vermutung liegt nahe, dass die Decken länger nicht in Gebrauch und auch nicht gewaschen waren. Glücklicherweise hatte ich mein Antiallergikum dabei… Am nächsten Tag guckten wir mal unter Bett und Sofa. Die Sauberkeit ließ auch hier zu wünschen übrig. Ein Besen neben der Eingangstür, lässt vermuten, dass hier nur durchgefegt wird. Das Pflaster was in einer Bewertung aus dem September erwähnt wird, lag auch bei unserem Besuch noch dort. Gereinigt wurde das Bad also, wenn überhaupt, nur ungenügend. Zusammenfassend müssen wir sagen, dass diese Unterkunft nicht zu empfehlen ist. Nicht zuletzt weil man sich fragt wo die Reinigungspauschale landet.

Probably the worst experience we've ever had on airbnb. upon our arrival the owner (which is not the host on airbnb) was surprised to see 3 of us, she was only informed there would be one guest. We did however, clearly state this during booking. The owner then asked us for a printed voucher for our stay. looking into our mailbox we indeed got an email a few days prior with a voucher that said in small print in the email to print it and hand it to the owner upon arrival, something we didn't take into account since we've never had a similar thing happen through Airbnb. we then drove to a nearby city and printed the document. The accommodation itself was surprising and not in a good way, upon entering we were greeted by an odour of urine, cold and moist room that didn't seem all that clean. the owner did leave a bottle of water and wine which was a nice gesture. looking further into the accommodation we were greeted with more unpleasant surprises, cobwebs everywhere, spiders hiding in corners, unsafe wiring dangling above the kitchen sink and bathroom cabinet, used bandaids in the shower... to top everything off we asked the owner to turn up the heating as we were traveling with a 3 month old baby, and staying in a 17°C house was not going to happen. she insisted that because of the region it's always cold, she had turned up the heating but we should just put on another sweater, we could also buy wood from her to burn in the fireplace, which came at a premium and charged us extra cleaning costs. She then mentioned that we were not allowed to leave any trash apart from greens as it was a "nature house" no mention of where the trash could be taken as an alternative this was all not stated in the listing on airbnb. since the owner spoke very little English and we don't speak all that much German, it was incredibly difficult to figure things out and we left incredibly frustrated after the first days into our holiday. When we raised these issues to the host, they mentioned since we were checking out that day they can't do anything and we should send an email to their support team, which has been unanswered for a few days now. definitely not an experience that anyone should go through, let alone pay for.

Sehr süße und charmante Wohnung mitten in der Vulkaneifel. Unsere Gastgeberin hat uns herzlich empfangen, uns in Ruhe und sehr detailliert durch die Wohnung geführt und war immer für Rückfragen erreichbar, da sie direkt Haus nebenan wohnte. Es war alles sehr gemütlich und vollständig und liebevoll eingerichtet. Einziger Tipp: Wenn man nicht gerade in der größten Sommerhitze anreist, würde ich empfehlen Hausschuhe mitzubringen, da der Steinboden gut kühlt. Danke für die schöne Zeit.
