Alicia’s house is an absolute jewel. It’s design is spacious and contemporary but rustic and charming at the same time . Packed with character. The gardens are full with colorful plants and flowers and a stream running alongside the property entrance. Great location to walk into the town of Urubamba to visit the local markets, cafes or upscale hotel/restaurants. Mario and Oscar are local transport/ guides who took us on hiking tours of the local Incan ruins and to the waterfalls and colorful craft markets which were some of the highlights of our trip. The location of Alicia’s house also provides easy access to the train to Machu Picchu and the charming cobbler stone town of Ollaytantambo. Alicia was always available to us to answer questions, help arrange transport and even went out of her way to organize a birthday dinner for my husband at a nearby world class resort. We couldn’t be happier with our choice for the 6 of us to stay at Alicia’s house, we’ll recommend it to all of our friends and we hope to one day return.

This is a beautiful home in the most perfect setting. The outdoor area is incredible, with so many beautiful plants and flowers! The house had everything we needed - including games and dvd’s for our evenings with friends. The housekeeper was fabulous and everything was clean and tidy. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you Alicia!

These pictures do not do justice to how beautiful this house really is. Located a few minutes from the main road in Urubamba the house was a nice mix of seclusion and good location. Every room was very comfortable for my family of five. There is a huge yard around the house with tons of flowers and a nice hammock. The house was very clean. Charlie the handyman was extremely helpful with opening the main gate, helping get us things and bring our luggage to and from the car. Alicia was extremely accommodating and let us extend our stay last minute! She also responded quickly to many questions about things in the area. Overall, the property was beyond our expectations and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and scenic stay in Sacred Valley.
