Maria was a great host and her apartment is on a wonderful location. Everything was clean and thought of. The building was nice with friendly neighbours.

Maria nagyon kedves és rugalmas. A lakás a leírásnak megfelelő volt, szépen felújított. Mind két szobában klíma, tökéletes hűtéssel. Nagyon nagy terasz, fedett és napos résszel. Közelben pár perc távolságra, lidl, diszkont markt, kis boltok, sétány, tengerpart, buszmegálló. Imádtuk.

Perfect place for a perfect holiday! Maria's place is situated exactly 5 minutes from the beach and 30 seconds (yep) away from Lidl. Very close to the beach yet just remote enough from the clamour of main streets so one can have good night rest. The apartment is really cozy and has everything that you might need for family or single stay. Although the temperatures in Greece can go really high, the place can be pleasantly cool even without the A/C turned on all the time. Wi-Fi is good and reliable, brand new fridge to keep the ouzo cold, and A/C in every room. Maria is really hospitable and welcoming host, readily available to answer all questions. 10/10 - highly recommended.

So I've been living / traveling in Greece for quite a while now and this apartment has been by far the worst experience for me. It was the 3 of us traveling there plus a dog in November for off season holiday - when we were literally the only tourists in Paralia. We booked this apartment EXCLUSIVELY because it was marked as animal friendly. We would have had many other choices in deserted Paralia in off season but we decided to go with this one because of the price. The apartment was not clean anyways when we arrived but we did not complain because we could get over it... Also the fact that the apartment was used as a storage room for kids bed/bathtub/other stuff was okay... We didn't even complain about the fact that the pictures were misleading and a lot nicer online than in reality... But exactly one week after our first day I received a request from Maria to pay 200€ for the "damages" we caused was just too much.... Especially that our stay didn't cost that much... Maria claimed that "we sratched the counter top and the table", she also complained about the dog fur in the apartment and submitted a bill for the extra cleaning, it all as just obvious. We brought our own blanket to cover the beds from the dog to make it more easy for the hosts and the dog is the most well behaved 4-legged friend ever. The fact that she not only saw us arriving and leaving with the dog just made it even more confusing when I received the claim ONE WEEK AFTER our first day of arrival... She could've said something when she saw the dog for the first time when we checked in, she was in the apartment when we checked out and yet didn't say anything in person! She has all of our numbers and did not complain, only through airbnb... I'm so surprised, pissed and disappointed about this attitude and it is really the first time I've experienced something like this in Greece ... She uploaded a bunch of proof pictures - none of which can be viewed - but the dog has never touched the counter tops or the table... It just shocks me that she would have us pay for other people's mistakes, especially that she repaires furnitures in her free time. On top of all, after all of this she changed the apartment's description to include that "animals are not allowed" after we left to make leverage for her claims. I'm seriously disappointed and this is not how I've experienced Greek hospitality throughout my many many experiences... Shame on this attitude for making us regret to stay with her....
