Atlahs place has a beauitful view overlooking the rear entry to Petra. The house is basic and we had no other travellers staying at the time, family at the house were friendly but dont speak english. Our stay was fine, didnt venture out at night as the village seemed pretty dodgy after dark.

This was a great place to stay as we travelled with 3 adults and 3 children. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves allowing us to relax after a hectic drive in. The kids made themselves at home exploring the grounds and we enjoyed the well made meal from Atallah’s family member. Atallah was quick to help us when we had questions making our not so planned-out trip even more enjoyable. After seeing poor hotel reviews and experiencing Atallah’s place and Petra, I know we made a great decision.

THE place to stay when visiting Petra. I cannot say enough good things about our experience here. The beautiful vista terrace views overlooking the ancient city were only outdone by the hospitality of the owner and his family. The lovely, spacious villa was stylish and clean with amazing location. Add in the hearty and delicious cuisine, our warm and friendly hosts, and I am left with only the highest compliment to the Jordanian experience. Thank you Atallah, for sharing your home. It was wonderful meeting You, Abat, Rahal, and Fatima!
