Mas bucolique et authentique. Beaucoup d’espace extérieur et deux magnifiques terrasse. L’intérieur est décoré avec beaucoup de charme. Avons passé une magnifique semaine.

We booked for six night`s stay via Airbnb. On the whole, the property was delightful, with rustical farm house, large garden and large pool. The ground floor and first floor (with two bedrooms) are very nice and the house generally has everything one is likely to need on holiday. The agent who received us at the house was very friendly and the pool man was especially helpful. The property was not quite as clean as would reasonably be expected. Cleaning in the kitchen was not complete on arrival: the oven, oven racks and trays were extremely dirty and unusable, many kitchen utensils, especially those near the stove, were grimy, and the pool house was grubby. We informed the owner about the oven and pool house, but the response was poor. For example, we were told only then that the toilet and shower of the pool house were not actually part of the rental, but that we may use the fridge in the pool house (the fridge in fact was not cleaned and had black mold in it). The property was not as advertised. Besides the surprise about the pool house, the description and photo of the “bedroom” in the attic (this is one of three bedrooms in total) are entirely misleading. The attic ceiling is at a slant, with an average height of ca. 120 cm (measured from the floor to the underside of the ceiling rafter that crosses the middle of the ceiling). The opening into the attic from the step ladder (and not “staircase” as described in the advertisement) is located at the lowest end of the ceiling, meaning that one needs to crawl on hands and knees to just to get into the room. Once in the room, the whole family struggled to move under the low ceiling, either on hands and knees or by crouching down very low. In contrast, the advertised photo of the bedroom is taken at an angle that gives the impression of a spacious room. This is because the angle does not reveal the ceiling, how low it really is, or how difficult it is to actually get into the room. The access to the attic is via a rectangular opening in the floor. The opening has no guard rail of any kind and it is not easy to get back down from the attic through this opening into the house, due to the low ceiling. For anyone considering this house (which is otherwise a very attractive property) and does need a third bedroom or a room for their children: We would not recommend that small children use the attic due to risk of falling through this opening.  We anticipate that parents would not be able to carry small children to bed, and as we found, will find it difficult accessing and walking the room. Older or less athletic visitors might also avoid this room, due to the difficulties of moving below such a low ceiling. We have doubts about the safety...
