Great house, a great stay, a lot of cats in the neighborhood, and the village vibe is fantastic if you like the rural atmosphere. Also, go to Ela Tavern, not the one on the public square.

We had a great time in Manos place in Kalirachi! I would definitely stay here again. Pros: -Very nice little village, not very touristy. -Good communication with host, his dad met us, helped us with luggage ++. Even baked us a cake! -Nice house with good standard. Fantastic view. Lots of space -Close driving range to many nice beaches. -The local square is very nice at night, the whole village feels totally safe. -Local recommendations from Manos was really helpful! Cons: -Quite some way to walk up from the village square - but that also makes it more intimate, quiet and private. No problem if you don't have mobility issues. -We had a heat wave the first week, and I found it a little too warm at night. There is an aircondition in the living room which helps, and it is a stone house, but still. The second week was no problem. My other family members wasn't bothered that much and slept well, though.

We spent a week at Manos's house. The house is nicely renovated and decorated, clean, comfortable and has a wonderful view. Manos's father is lovely and lives nearby. He picked us up at the main square, gave us recommendations and helped out with our luggages. The walk to the house from the main square is quite steep - so, not suitable for anyone with walking problems.

Manos’ house is probably the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. It’s an old house in a small mountain village , completely refurbished and modernised to an extremely high standard. New appliances, tasteful decor , modern bathroom, and all mod cons. We were met and looked after by Vassili who lives next door. Vassili made sure everything was perfect for us. His wife made us a wonderful breakfast of pastries and jam one morning. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. It’s in a quiet village away from the tourist hot-spots in the beach resorts. It’s a proper working village where people live, work, and raise families. Facilities in the village are minimal - mini-market, and a small family taverna called plateia (in the village square). Food here was simple fare, delicious and very cheap. Only caveat I’d mention. This is a MOUNTAIN village. It has narrow, labyrinthine, and STEEP alleyways for streets. You need to park your car in the village square and walk up to the house. It’s good exercise walking up and down a few times a day. If you have mobility issues this really isn’t the place for you.

We were satisfied with our stay. Manos and his father Vasilis responded very quickly to our every need and every message. The kitchen was well equipped and the balcony has a beautiful view. Very quiet neighbourhood. Only the parking lot is far from the house and it is challenging to walk to the house.
