We hosted my husband’s birthday and celebrate Christmas together with our 6 adult children at Raspberry Hill for a week-end in December. This allowed our family to be in one place which worked well. Everyone raved about the BnB. We want to do it again.

The house was a perfect place to have a family reunion. The setting was beautiful and the home was large enough for 12 of us to have our own space. Brad was wonderful to work with and very responsive. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

We had a wonderful time at Raspberry Hill celebrating our son's marriage. The large interesting home provided both great gathering spots for the eight adults and two kids in our party, as well as areas for individuals to retreat for quiet relaxation. The home's location was very near everywhere we needed to go in Ames and made for a quick ride down to the state fair in Des Moines as well. The separate living suite in the basement worked so well for our son 's family of four. Our grandchildren were enamored with "the castle", their term for the house, and we even had a treasure hunt for them complete with interesting maps and clues to locations in the home(under the piano, in the room with the fish tank, in the berth where the pirates sleep....). We are grateful to Brad and Gina for maintaining the large property for visitors to Iowa. What a great place for a celebration or simply a quiet retreat!

Brad and Gina offer a unique space for their overnight guests! This magnificent Tudor Style estate offers a remote setting within minutes to all Iowa State University functions. The home’s features allow families to spend time together but everyone is allowed their own space! So much better than a crowded hotel room!!
