We had a great time here! So much history in this apartment! Close to local shops and restaurants and walkable to all the ancient sites. Ricardo was an amazing host; friendly and always responsive for questions (like the tourist tax!) And he met us at the door to personally show us around. Lots of steps but we did so much walking during the days that we didn’t mind 😊

We loved this quirky apartment with a fabulous view. The location was amazing and the decoration was so cool & unusual. All the necessities were there for self catering. Yes there are a lot of stairs so you need to be fit enough to bring your bags up, but we didn't find this a problem. Riccardo is friendly and easy to communicate with. We managed to fit our family of 4 into the 2 double beds easily - the sofa bed is actually 2 separate single beds which was great for our kids. Would totally recommend this for an atmospheric stay in beautiful Rome.

The pictures are rather misleading. It’s much smaller than I have imagined and if you are a 4 people group you use the sofa bed there is almost no space left.

This is the most beautiful place you could choose to stay in Rome. Exactly what you would expect from an old, beautiful and authentic apartment. Everything is exactly as described and the heads up about the stairs is definitely something to consider. but it's worth the exercise! We hope to stay again, and again, and again. Thank you, Riccardo, for being such a fantastic host!

Riccardo’s place is a great value and location! We loved staying in a historic place in the heart of Rome. It was super convenient and walkable to everything!! Riccardo is very kind and responsive to any questions and streamlined our check-in. We didn’t have issues with the building although the locks were a little finicky and required a little added patience. Something to add- it is 77 stairs to reach the apartment so be aware when considering transporting a lot of luggage or if you struggle with steps. Additionally, this listing uses a traditional toilet so no toilet paper can be flushed and there is an additional bidet that we found challenging to use. Overall, I would recommend this charming apartment!
