We loved our quiet escape from the city for the weekend! The barn was beautiful and had everything we needed. I loved relaxing in the inside and outside on the porch. Everything is 10-15 minutes away from the house - we had great meals at Silvia and Cucina (both recommend by host) and found great outdoor walks and art. Hosts were also great, made everything super simple. Highly recommend a weekend in Woodstock and staying here!

Mirco & Gina’s home is lovely. Super secluded, yet easy to find and had everything we needed during our stay. It was the perfect getaway from the city and we would definitely love to stay again. Mirco & Gina were great hosts and super responsive. Thanks again!

We spent 4 days at the cottage (3 adults), as a home base for exploring the Hudson Valley. The cottage is well located - quietly in the woods off the Glasco Turnpike, but still close to Woodstock and Saugerties. I guess in summertime, you could walk over to Opus 40 - unfortunately it was closed during our visit. The cottage is just as described in the ad with nice decorations and a perfect size for 3-4 adults (there is only one bathroom upstairs). While it has been lovely renovated, I would still note that it is an old house and windows and (sliding / front) doors in particular have their kinks. The stairway is open without ramp, so probably not ideal for small kids (or elderly). I highly recommend the restaurant scene in Woodstock, which is indeed just a convenient 10 minutes car ride away. We had great diner experience at Silvia, Cucina and GoodNight.

This was my first time renting an Airbnb. My wife and I we're looking for something peaceful, and tranquil for a weekend getaway. From the moment I booked the weekend, I was in constant (not overwhelming) contact with Gina who kept me up to date with the future stay with detailed directions to the barn, the door code and recommendations. This home is tastefully updated, and after viewing the IG for the Barn, I respected it more and more seeing how Mirco simplistically built many things by hand over the years, and how they decorated every square inch with many personal touches. All of the photos on Airbnb, and their IG page lived up to expectations when we we're there. There we're two nicely detailed sets of instructions for their home as a reference guide. This is a great space for a simple retreat to call a 'home base' while exploring Woodstock and Rhinebeck. All in all a great experience, beautiful home, and wonderful hosts!
