The tavern was a real treat to stay in. It was fascinating reading the history of the over 100 yr old structure. Heidi did an amazing job reminding us that an older house comes with some quirks & how to work with them for an effortless stay. Everything was labeled, so there were no questions about where to find anything we needed. She was sweet enough to leave a few unexpected & quickly consumed snacks and water in the fridge. Our 5 yr old grandson called it "our house" during our time there. He excitedly played with the toys, enjoyed the games & learned a couple of new ones. Thank you for making our first booking an easy & delightful one.

The place was gracious and comfortable. We did not find the noise level from the road to be bad at all. Hosts are clearly lovers of art and history. Great books and documentation of the history of the building. You should enjoy staying in a historic building and its attendant quirks! We accidentally threw a circuit breaker and our hosts cheerfully fixed it immediately.

Heidi was an excellent host! She was able to accommodate an early check-in, sent clear instructions with pictures, and was very responsive to my questions. The AirBnB was clean, well stocked, and exactly as described. We would highly recommend you stay with her!

Heidi's place is wonderful. My colleague and I had this as our home base for a weekend event for work. Beds are comfortable , the space has all we needed and is perfect. This was our 2nd time staying. Close to Grand Rapids and other amazing little towns. Great place & nice owner

This is my second time staying on the property and I am so upset I missed the chickens. We were busy with business meetings all day and evening but I just love staying here.
