Julie and Mark are wonderful hosts making you feel at home right from the start. They are very welcoming and have lots of information whether that be places to visit, cafes/restaurants or great walks. My bed was comfortable, shower was excellent and the kitchen has all you need. Their home is in a picturesque village surrounded by countryside with a good local pub. Thank you Julie ,Mark and Dexter the dog for a lovely home from home stay and the chats over a cuppa. Look forward to the next visit.

Gleich von Anfang an habe ich mich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Julie ist äußerst liebenswürdig, es gab viele nette Gespräche, Ausflugtips brauchte ich nicht da ich die Gegend sehr gut kenne. Es war überhaupt kein Problem meine regennassen Hosen, Schuhe und auch Jacken zu trocken, dabei war Julie mehr als nur behilflich. Gerne würde ich wiederkommen.

I stayed with Julie and Mark for three nights while on a solo fossil hunting trip. They were both very welcoming and their lovely dog Dexter is a delight. The location is in the heart of the countryside and is perfectly situated between my go-to places for fossils (Charmouth and Lyme Regis). Julie and Mark were excellent at recommending local things to do and had plenty of maps of the area to borrow. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I will hopefully be back again with my family soon!

Julie and Mark are fantastic hosts making you feel very welcome , and like friends you haven’t visited in a while .A lovely location not far from all amenities and the beautiful country side and sea.would highly recommend if you want a home from home experience with fantastic hosts

Where do I start :), so I spent a month with mark and Julie as I was down on a course and couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay, there both great people , very friendly and helpful in every way . The location and house are absolutely stunning , I didn’t want to leave :) and will definitely keep in touch and would love to bring the family next time . Dexter was the most brilliant chilled out dog that allway put a smile on my face each morning or evening when I seen him :). So if your looking for a 10/10 place, location and great people to spend your time then you have found it . Thanks again mark and Julie, I couldn’t of asked for anything more , take care and keep In touch . Rory
