The house was fairly private and just remote enough. It was very comfortable. My husband and I would love to go back at some point when it’s just us. The view is amazing especially if you like birds. There were some herons and at least 30 egrets in the water below the house and birdsong all day. The frogs were a surprise but not obnoxious. We saw elk as well. While there are neighbors they seem to like their privacy as well and we never saw them. The coast weather was as expected in April a bit rainy & grey. But as we are Oregonians we expected that. I would love to visit in better weather and just sit in the porch and have my morning coffee with the birds. The house manager was responsive and very nice. It would be nice to have a dustpan as pine needles find their way inside quite a lot. The appliances were clean and functional. All in all a wonderful experience.

The stay at this location was amazing. Beautiful surroundings and extremely peaceful. The house was exactly as described. We did have a problem where the hot tub was not usable (outside of the owners control) and Monica was quick to compensate us for the inconvenience. I would highly recommend this location!

Beautiful home in a beautiful area. We had a very relaxing weekend and hiked at Cape Lookout. The white herons around the home were incredible to see. There were also serenading frogs at night, it was incredible how many how loud they were. The house was great. Unfortunately, the hot tub was out of commission which we were told a few days prior.

Birds are one of my things. From the deck of the Netart's Home, that overlooks an estuary, numerous waterfowl peacefully went about their business, as I kept my binouclars on their antics. If you have a fascination with flora and fauna, I'd recommend the nearby Sitka-Sedge, Hayden Island and Cape Lookout State Parks as Mecca for your interest. The house was perfect for my needs: quiet, clean with a peaceful neighborhood. Since my period of rental was just prior to the annual Oscar Film Awards, it was pleasure to watch one of the nominated movies on a Smart Television that had a great picture and soundbar. Thanks Monica, for quickly responding to any question or need I might have had.

This was our second stay at this wonderful, comfortable home. There are so many great things about the place that I don't think I can list them all. The surrounding area peaceful, guiet and beautiful. The view includes the bay and some wetlands with a large variety of water foul and a multi color sunset. The spa is a welcome luxury after a day of exploring and an excellent meal at Schooners restaurant which is just minutes away. We will return.
