Very kind and helpful hosts who helped me find an affordably priced tailor for same-day work. Spacious and comfortable room. Reasonable location in Grand Popo (albeit there is nothing much to do in Grand Popo, which for some will be good and for others not)

Nous avons adoré notre court séjour à l’Auberge Espagnol. Noel le réceptionniste est particulièrement gentil et accueillant. Nous avons loué 4 chambres. Toutes des chambres très propres et douches avec eau chaude (sauf pour une chambre dans laquelle ça ne fonctionnait pas). Bémols : Prendre en compte que c’est en fait un hôtel qui annonce ses chambres sur Airbnb et non une villa. L’annonce évoque la climatisation mais en fait, il faut payer un supplément (j’ai fait part de cet élément car à mon sens cela est de la représentation). Le petit-déjeuner est payant (2000-3000FCFA), il est correct mais sans plus, à ce prix-là on s’attends à un peu plus (considérant que tu peux avoir un repas entier (déjeuner/diner) avec viande pour le même prix).

Un personnel chaleureux, proactif et aux petits soins. Nous nous sentions comme à la maison. Très bien situé, on accède à pieds à la plage et à la place Nonvitcha. Seul hic, il n’y a pas d’eau chaude. Nous y étions en temps de pluie et avons eu droit à l’accueil par les moustiques 😅 Cela n’empêche que le séjour y était excellent. Notre chien a été tres bien traité c’était vraiment sympa. Je recommande !

This hotel is a real gem. Our bedroom was huge with powerful AC a lovely veranda and a great sea view we loved hearing the waves breaking on the beach. A delicious breakfast was provided and we sat eating this in the garden under the coconut palms. The staff are so kind and helpful they cooked us dinner every day and even did our washing. We can't wait to come and stay again. Grand Popo has miles of unspoilt beaches and a lovely weekly market on Saturdays.
