We absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin was exactly as described… if you’re looking for something ‘off the grid’ and peaceful, or if you’re looking to ‘unplug’ but still be comfortable, this cabin is perfect. Tim and Lisa have put together an amazing place to stay and are incredible hosts, even having a nice and much appreciated fire started for us when we arrived so the cabin was nice and cozy warm when we checked in. The cabin is very well stocked and everything is easy to use and easily accessible. We did not try any of their homesteading activities, but they looked to be a lot of fun and might be something to try next time.

This place is truly a little slice of heaven! We had the most wonderful time at the homestead cabin, the listing does not do it justice! There was so much for the kids to do, feeding the animals, playing in the little outdoor house, playing with the dress-up closet, toys were hiding in every nook and cranny. Lisa was such a sweet host, she provided a little booklet of all the homestead activities we could do! We ended up making peach pie and homemade ice cream in the homestead house and it was such a fun experience. Lisa was so patient with the kids, teaching them all about the animals. They loved it and we did as well! The cabin had plenty of space for 4 adults plus all our kiddos. The property itself is beautiful and so peaceful, all the hard work that Tim and Lisa have put into it really shows. We could not recommend the homestead more!!! Our stay here will forever hold a sweet spot in our memories.

This place is so special. The surrounding canyon is exquisite. Sunsets and starlit nights serene. We loved all the farm animals, friendly horses and comical sheep noises. This is truly off the grid living which takes some adjusting to but our teens loved it too and we were outside most of the time. So many places to explore in the area. We went home with a pair of cowboy boots thanks to Lisa and Tim but not a puppy this time:). We will be back!

We loved this place! The kids enjoyed helping feed the animals. We got to help collect chicken eggs. The views of the night sky are incredible! We particularly enjoyed stargazing from the hammock (you can see the milky way on a clear night). There is very limited electricity and we did not have cell service, but that's exactly what we were looking for! We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future.
