Such a peaceful lodge and we did see a lot of wildlife which was so lovely. We slept so well. The weather was not great but it did not matter we had the hot tub which was great. I would recommend this lodge to anyone. It’s great base if you want to go out or if you want a peaceful break away from everything.

A lovely, peaceful, clean and comfortable cabin, located at the top of a hill overlooking beautiful fields and hills! Communication with Darren and Lindsey was always quick and helpful - left to it to enjoy our stay but always there if we needed them. The cabin is kitted out with all the utensils and cooking items you might need. We brought all our food with us as we had read that it is quite remote, and we were glad we did - the track to the cabin is long and uneven - it took me 10 mins to drive from the entrance up to the cabin at no more than 5mph (but I do drive a 10 year old Kia!) So many amazing walks and views on site there is no real need to leave - the hot tub was a lovely treat after an afternoon trek with the dog. Thank you for a lovely few days away from it all - we really were able to switch off and relax.

Fast responses and helpful info on directions to cabin. Lovely and clean, comfortable and sufficient utensils, crockery, etc. Scenic and peaceful surroundings with plenty of places nearby to walk our dog. Only slight downside was that it was rather a long way to local amenities, in part I think, due to the closest pubs closing due to covid/the economy which couldn’t be helped. Not a big downside if you want to just get away from it all, relax and enjoy the peaceful and beautiful surroundings! There is a Tesco Superstore about 25 minutes drive away to stock up on supplies. But you would need a car as there is really nothing in walking distance. Thank you for a lovely place to spend our long weekend away!

We really enjoyed our weekend away at this lovely cabin which was spacious, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The cabin is well situated in a private and peaceful location which was ideal for relaxing in the hot tub. The most important thing for me was the Jack Russell proof garden, totally enclosed with no chance of the doggo escaping was a massive weight off my mind. We’d definitely recommend this place to others and most probably revisit!

A little gem in the middle of nowhere. The cabin is beautiful and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The surroundings are beautiful and the remote nature of the location was just what we needed to switch off for a week. We loved sitting in the hot tub and watching all the wildlife. Perfectly located for visits too, we had great days in Ludlow and Aberystwyth as well as some time in Knighton or just chilling out at the cabin. All in all we had a really lovely week and would definitely come back.
