Thanks we enjoyed our stay. Very good value for money in a very convenient location. A helpful and responsive housekeeper, but the apartment could do with some TLC.
Roberto’s place is a nice get away from the city. It Is located on the main Accra- Cape-coast road making it easy for local transport to drop you in front of the building and driving with a car as there is parking on the grounds. The place is clean + appealing interior with kitchen and bathroom essentials – the A/C also works great too! There is a local pub a few yards away which serve local food + play live music, Saltpond beach is a 7 minute walk and Cape Coast is a 25 minute drive great if you also want to explore other towns in the Central Region. I would recommend this place if you are looking for nice + secure place to stay.
Property is situated on a major highway. Good for us because we caught a bus which dropped us on the highway. Bad if you're a light sleeper. There's movement all day and night. We were able to purchase some food to prepare from the market which is in close proximity to the property as well as the taxi stand. It was one cedi per person to market. The house staff accompanied us to the market. Taxis and tro-tros are easily accessible due to the fact we did not have our own transportation. The A/C is working perfectly. I don't think I've felt A/C this chilled since I arrived in Ghana. We were only given one body towel for two guests and our request for a second towel was declined. The bed is comfortable but not comfortable because the combining of two twin beds made it difficult for me and my husband to cuddle. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. While here we visited Kakum National Park, Cape Coast Castle and Elmins Castle.
Nice space walking distance from the beach and a nice roadside restaurant for local food, but not much else. They provide breakfast of toast, fruit and boiled eggs for GHc10/each. Only downside was that we stayed two nights and the Internet only worked for a couple hours total.
