this cottage has been beautifully restored with great attention to detail and period. The woodwork detailing alone would have taken many hours. It has then been nicely fitted for guests. All in all a great place to stay. Highly recommend! Sterling is a peaceful town with many small Victorian cottages, and some grand houses as well. Not many dining options LOL

This was our 3rd stay here. The hosts are very helpful and answered our every question in a timely manner. We love the large table here…plenty of room for our family and our Sterling College student to gather around and enjoy family meals and conversations. The kitchen here is huge, with many pots, pans, and kitchen utensils. The electric skillet was especially appreciated. The hosts left some milk and eggs and breakfast items in the fridge for us. Beds are comfortable. The bathroom is large with a nice soaking tub and a big shower, plus plenty of towels. The neighborhood is quiet and safe….and well, they left cookies for us. :o) Thanks, Mary and Blair!
