This brand spanking newly renovated delightful traditional cottage dates back to 1850, and features charm and beauty in abundance. Every aspect of this cottage has been fully renovated, including new windows, doors, plastering, decorating, flooring, heating, electrics, plumbing and furnishings. Railway cottage features 2 bedrooms and we welcome ONE well behaved dog to stay. We are located just a short stroll from the village centre of Ingleton, with picturesque walks on the doorstep. The whole cottage is available to guests. This includes 2 bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom includes a double bed, and the second bedroom has a small double. There is also a brand new shower room on the first floor with superb walk in power shower. On the ground floor, there is a cosy living room with original wood beams and a delightful original cast iron fire (note this is for decoration only). There is also a brand new kitchen diner with door on to the fully enclosed patio area. Venturing further into the garden beyond the patio area there is a gravelled area and wild flower section. The garden is a real sun trap all day. We are dog friendly and we welcome ONE well behaved dog to stay. By exception two small dogs may be permitted but please enquire first.

A lovely cottage in an excellent position. Clean and well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay and Charlotte was an excellent host. Highly recommend!

A perfect cosy cottage, we were two couples staying for a weekend and it was great. The cottage had all the essentials you need to be right at home, within minutes we had a cup of tea and settled in for the first night! The location is really good if you are thinking about tackling the three peaks, or just one! We also enjoyed the local pub for great food as well as a charming farm shop about 25 minutes walk. The second bedroom is a smaller double which we didn't mind and I'm sure would also be good for little ones but worth noting if you like a bigger bed. Charlotte gave ideal instructions to get there, we had a lovely welcome booklet for information on the area in the cottage, plus perfect check out instructions so communication was second to none. Brilliant little cottage with everything required for a comfortable stay. Parking available right outside the front door with a lockbox check-in/out which is perfect. There is a small courtyard around the back with seating. It’s also a great little sun trap which gets plenty of sun throughout the afternoon (June). The cottage is only 5-10 minutes’ drive from the Chapel-le-Dale start point for the Yorkshire 3 peaks which is very convenient if that is something you plan on doing. The local area is great with plenty of shops, cafes, and pubs around. There is an information pack at the cottage with lots of information in if you’re stuck on what to do.

Lovely place to stay. Nice to find a dog friendly property. It's immaculately kept & only a short walk to the village centre. Charlotte was proactive with communications and a has put together a good guide for places to go and where to eat etc which was helpful. Chocolates, treats & wine on arrival was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

Great place, great weekend and great host. Peoactive, helpful and full of small touches that were very appreciated. Putting the northern lights on was quite an achievement but she managed it!

We are nestled just a short walk from the centre of Ingleton, a picturesque traditional Dales village set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with Artisan shops lining the streets, welcoming cafes, independent pubs and restaurants all just a five minute walk from our front doorstep.
The famous Ingleton Waterfall Trail is a short walk away, and boasts some of the most spectacular waterfall and woodland scenery in England. With its fascinating history and breathtaking views a visit to Ingleton Falls is a great family day out. The trail is 4.5 miles long featuring a series of stunning waterfalls and geological features. White Scar Cave, Britain's longest show cave, and the impressive Ribblehead Viaduct are also all on Ingleton's doorstep. Ingleton is also located against the awe-inspiring backdrop of Ingleborough, one of the famous Three Peaks.

Railway Cottage is right on the doorstep of the village of Ingleton; just a 5 minute stroll and you will be in the centre of Ingleton with its abundance of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.
There is free, unrestricted parking right outside of Railway Cottage. If preferred, there is also a car park just a few yards from Railway Cottage which costs £15 for a full weeks parking, and an additional car park just further up the road (a 1 minute walk) at the same price.
