Mike proved to be an exceptional host, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. The charming cottage, complete with a delightful hot tub, provided the perfect backdrop for a truly memorable getaway. Our children were enchanted by the friendly animals, adding an extra layer of joy to our experience. With its proximity to various attractions, our stay was nothing short of perfection.

Beautiful cosy cottage in a quiet, peaceful spot. Mike was very helpful meeting us at check in and providing recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the local area. Had everything we needed and our girls enjoyed saying hello to the horses in the stables next door!

We love the location, so close to the beach, Plas Newydd, model railway, sea zoo, Indy climbing wall, we’ll definitely be back!

Mike was welcoming, great communication before we arrived, and had provided some nice touches such as fresh milk in the fridge and the fire lit for arrival. The cottage is in a great location. However, the previous reviews about the standard of the beds were correct, unfortunately. All the bedsteads creaked significantly and the mattresses were extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. Having booked on the strength of the hot tub at the cottage (the price went up since we booked it), the water was so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom and we chose not to use it. There was not enough cutlery, only one dessert spoon which we used in turn, and not enough crockery for four. My daughter loved playing with dogs which roam free but the barking of the dogs in the evening and early mornings woke her up. I did not feel £282 inc the hot tub cost was value for money for two nights.
