Helen and Gene were very kind and responsive hosts that made check in very easy. They were quite welcoming to us. The area was beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet, which we enjoyed. However, upon checking in, we were told we would not be able to flush any toilet paper in the toilet. Kind of uncomfortable, but okay. What we were NOT told is that each time we had to flush the toilet, we had to take the tank cover off and manually flush. Each time we flushed the toilet, the water ran loudly for a while, to the point where we had to keep the bathroom door closed pretty much the whole time, especially when we were sleeping. These points were not in the listing. Mattress was also not the best if you have a bad back, which I unfortunately do. Otherwise, the place was clean and served its purpose. Unfortunately I would probably not stay again just for the bathroom issues alone. Hotel would’ve been around the same value for 2 day stay without the issues.

This is a cute affordable accommodation! Helen and Gene respond very quickly and are willing to help however they can. Be advised: - Plumbing is delicate and house rules include not flushing toilet paper. This was not in the listing and would have affected our choice. - Bad backs will need a foam mattress topper. We bought one at Macys during our stay.

I enjoyed staying at Helen and Gene’s bungalow it was peaceful and the hot tub and pool were great 🤗

From the personal touches with the happy birthday decorations, to the extra tooth brushes in the bathroom. This place is everything listed and more. Pool was crystal clear hot tub was warm and they are very responsive. Probably the best stay I’ve ever experienced as far as personal touches and extras.
