Our holiday was great, we were 3 generations celebrating a family event and the house exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful old house in stunning countryside. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable and the large and extremely well equipped kitchen meant that we could all cook and chat together in the evening. An amazing place

This was a perfect venue for our joint 60th celebration with everything we needed to keep the family members (from 26-86 years old) comfortable & happy. The decor is stylish and interesting & the house is very well equipped. We cooked outside both nights and used the cinema room for a pre-prepared quiz! Matt was welcoming and friendly and the views from the house and garden are amazing.

Our stay at Matthew’s place was wonderful! Celebrating my dad's 70th birthday here was perfect for our family gathering. The house comfortably accommodated all of us – my parents, siblings, their partners, and my two girls, who loved the playroom, trampoline, and their bedroom. The decor is stylish, featuring individually unique spaces; some were cozy, while others were open and perfect for everyone to be together. My brother was particularly impressed by the high-quality audio systems throughout the house, and the well-equipped, open-plan kitchen was the heart of our stay. The fantastic weather allowed us to enjoy the beautiful garden and, incredibly, we even saw the Northern Lights! The outside pizza oven and BBQ area were great spaces for entertaining. In summary, our stay was amazing, filled with beautiful memories. We highly recommend Matthew’s place for a perfect family getaway.

Our stay at Matthews's place was incredible. The house is great for entertaining and we all loved the open-plan kitchen for relaxing and socialising in the evening. The house decor is beautiful and the grounds that surround it really are something special. We all found the beds super comfortable and the amount of bathrooms was perfect for the 8 of us. Highly recommend using the pizza oven whilst you stay - that was a real highlight.

Lovely country home in Dorset. A great space for a relaxing weekend to catch up with friends. Plenty of space for 9 of us. Very well furnished and had everything we needed. Every room was different and cool touches. Cinema room was a cool bonus and outdoor space space/garden also very nice. Shame the weather wasn't better to enjoy it! Matthew responded quickly and helpfully to all my messages. Excellent location, some tight windy roads to the property but only 20 minutes from Lyme Regis and Seaton. Plus only 20 minutes or so off of a main road so easily accessible! Would definitely recommend and would love to return in the summer to make more use of outdoor space!
