Alena is a friendly, thoughtful and very responsive host. Her house annex is a small but super clean and comfortable place to stay in reach of the Florida Keys and the Everglades N.P. The master bedroom is spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Our kids stayed on spare beds within the living room area and were fine with that. Alena provided bottled water, cookies, several fruits, eggs, cereal and milk for us and we appreciated this hospitality very much! We only stayed one night and didn't make use of beach accessories, washing machine and dryer - but everything was available to make a longer stay possible and comfortable. The apartment is equipped with two different aircon systems, one in the bedroom and one in the living room and both worked fine. You might hear Alena and her family once in a while as the walls/ceilings are thin, but this did not bother us at all, having kids the same age. We would definitely stay again and would love to come back some day!
