Lovely place. Very clean and island modern style. Facing the ocean with beautiful views. The host had put together a great list of things to do and restaurants nearby. Very courteous and friendly host. The property is located at the end of a small unpaved road and you wonder if it’s the right way. But once you get inside their gate, it’s just different and beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The park across the street has a great protected cove and we enjoyed going out for a float every morning. We had a great conversation with Chris, one of the the proprietors and builder of the inn. They built and manage this themselves, which is why they have all the policies to help keep things orderly and looking nice. The room was beautiful and really tastefully done. We had a great stay, we would definitely stay again if we ever go back to the area.

Location, facilities, and cleanliness were all the best. It's an accommodation that I want to come to whenever I visit Hilo. If you're traveling on a Hilo, I really recommend this accommodation It would be better if you had children.

The room was extremely clean. Everything was as described. The furnishings were beautiful. Every night we would sit on the balcony and listen to the frogs. You need a car if staying here. There are no restaurants or shops within walking distance, but there are plenty within a 10 min drive. We enjoyed the live music at Pineapples. We had excellent meals at both the Hilo Beach Cafe (pork chop, lettuce wraps, crab cakes, and cast iron chocolate chip cookie) and Cafe Pesto (Fresh Catch and Sante Fe chicken. Oh and the korean garlic bread). Great Prime Rib sandwich at Coconut grill. The host provided a list of Day Trips and Restaurants which were extremely helpful. We followed the waterfall day trip and Volcano National Park to a tee and had 2 wonderful days! Be aware. There is no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up 2 flights of steps. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was great! AC worked well. We had a great stay. 4 nights felt like the right amount of time.
