This was our second stay with Linda and Putter and we expect more in the future! Highlights for us are the incredible breakfasts, the big bathtub, and the exceptional warmth and hospitality of our hosts. They went the extra mile to make our trip special and we really appreciated it. Everything was comfortable and clean and we had a great view of the stars at night from the balcony. As far as location goes, it's about 30 minutes to an hour to most of the popular hiking destinations on Skyline Drive. We also liked Shenandoah River State Park for a change of pace during peak bluebell season. Linda's food really is the best we've had in the area but we enjoyed West Main Market's sandwiches and beer garden after day on the trails.

My wife and I went here to celebrate our anniversary and soon to be first child. It was the perfect getaway away from the hustle and bustle of NOVA. We had an amazing experience to say at the very least. They really nailed the BNB on the head. Breakfast options were numerous and delicious (HIGHLY recommend their cinnamon rolls) and the living arrangement is perfect! Very spacious, comfy furniture and a clean bathroom. It felt homey and luxurious! Also, there's a perfect view of the river with a balcony to enjoy the view! The hosts were spectacular, friendly and very accommodating. It's also not too far from a nice little town with solid lunch/dinner options or a grocery run. We can't wait to have another celebration to make it out here in the future!

Family friendly place that is conveniently close to Luray caverns. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and a joy to visit with! They were very considerate by suggesting great places to eat as well as places to visit that met our accessibility needs. The breakfasts they served during our stay were phenomenal. The view from the room was lovely. The dogs were very sweet and our daughter loved playing with them. We had not even left their driveway and our daughter was already asking to go there again. We look forward to making another trip there in the future!

Cleanest places I have ever stayed! Linda is an amazing cook! I only wish I could have eaten more. We were in town for a wedding, so we did not have time to take in and enjoy the surroundings. I hope we can get back there. There is so much space and the bathroom is huge! I loved the shower. Linda and Putter are very friendly people and they love what they do! You won’t be disappointed (If you are a dog lover, like us, you will love their dogs Stella and Luna).

This couple really takes hosting a guest with the upmost care and thoughtfulness. Every detail was perfect! The breakfasts that Linda makes are absolutely out of this world! literally some of the best breakfast I’ve ever had in my life! The room is very spacious and the bed has plenty of pillows and was very comfortable. They have soundproofed most of the room so even if you’re speaking they won’t hear you which is nice for privacy. Their room is in the basement which is two floors below this part of the house. We felt very comfortable with them and had freedom to come in and out as we pleased. They do have two dogs but they’re both very nice however just like any dogs they do bark every once in a while. there is a beautiful view from the balcony of the river and a very comfortable little reading room where you can relax. Bathtub and shower were amazing! can’t say enough great things about this place! One thing to keep in mind is there is no cell phone service in this location but they have Wi-Fi so you can make phone calls and receive messages if you need to. Also, you are about 20 minutes away from any kind of civilization which to us was really nice!
