This is a large house with ample space for a family, it has the look and feel of a real home not just a vacation spot. The living room and kitchen are in the same open space and there are large sofa arrangements in two places and a big dining area. The outdoor patio is equipped for a large group to gather and enjoy the outdoor with ample furnite overlooking a sloping an big garden. The location is very private and quiet yet only 5 minutes by car to Gilleleje. A place worth visiting.

We spent a week at the cosy (hygge) summerhouse in Gilleleje with our two kids (12 and 9 years old) and it was JUST PERFECT! We rent 4 bikes in the center of Gilleleje and went for wonderful cycling trips to all directions every day - the cycling tracks are stunning and perfectly suited for the kids too. A supermarket is close (SuperBrugsen) and the close beach is absolutely calm and natural (although the water is a bit refreshing ...). The house is very spacious and has all amenities- including a wonderful garden which was perfectly suited for our kids. Thank you so much to our hosts Merete & Ralph! We can just highly recommend this wonderful place.

A real find. Well-located a few minutes’ delightful walk to a perfectly-formed small (I.e. quiet) beach and to the coastal path leading to Gilleleje’s characterful harbour. High levels of provision in the Summer House, all the bells and whistles and loads of space. Beautifully decorated and bristling with amenities, it was perfect for me and my family. Hosts were prompt and patient in responding to questions. We had a great time, thank you.
