Located in a nice, quiet, gated community located only 30 minutes from almost anywhere in Gainesville as well as Alachua & High Springs. Turkey Creek boasts of a newly opened restaurant as well as access to a pool, tennis courts & playground. I am also located less than 6 miles from the Temple of the Universe which is a popular destination for meditation and speakers. The room for rent is located right inside the house to the left and the bathroom is located just outside the bedroom door. The room and bathroom is not separate from the rest of the house, but it's relatively secluded enough from the rest of the house that it feels private. I provide all the accommodations and comforts of home at a very reasonable rate. Many of my guests really enjoy my backyard space. I not only have seating outside, but also a hammock to relax in.

One of the easiest airbnb stays I have ever had. Very clear instructions etc. and top notch responsiveness. Clean, quiet place. Exactly as described.
This was the best Airbnb that I have ever stayed at. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Sarah is so very kind. This was a new Airbnb experience for me because I had never actually stayed in someone’s home with them before, and my stay could not have been more cozy, peaceful, welcoming and I felt right at home. I will stay here again when I’m in Alachua and I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone, you won’t be dissapointed. I especially enjoyed the super comfy bed, the peaceful backyard, and just have welcoming, quiet and peaceful my entire stay was. Thank you Sarah!

Sarah is a great host, communicated thoughtfully. Her place is clear, quiet, and makes me feel safe. It’s around 10min driving away the temple of universe. I’d love to come back if visit the area again.
I absolutely loved Sarah’s home. The room was very comfortable and the attached private bathroom had an amazing relaxing tub. I spent a lot of time on the peaceful outdoor patio reading in the hammock or doing yoga. Sarah provided me with many local recommendations for outdoor activities. I was in town for visits to the Temple of the Universe and the location was perfect. Would definitely recommend staying at Sarah’s!

Turkey Creek is a very quiet family oriented community. It's one of the safest places I've ever lived and it's a great place to go for a walk or a run. There are many green spaces to walk or picnic and you can always enjoy a nice stroll alongside the rolling golf course greens.
The best way to get around is to bring your own vehicle. Uber and taxi do pick up where I live, but it's not as reliable as you would traditionally find within the city of Gainesville.

I love to travel, especially to national parks. I enjoy outside activities such as biking, hiking, kayaking and ziplining. I'm always willing to try new things and love a challenge. I work long hours so I take long memorable vacations. Most recently I visited London/Paris as well as Yellowstone National Park. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, but could just as easily pass an entire day reading a good book or watching a good movie (s). I'm very quiet and always strive to respect the space and privacy of others. I kind of go with the flow and adapt myself to fit the needs and preferences of those whom I host. I want my guests to feel as comfortable and at home as they can.
