I spent my January in this house and I had a great time here! This is a really special and unique town. It's no luxury resort, but if you prefer that sort of thing then this isn't your place. But if you want to have meet interesting people, explore a funky little area, and watch the most beautiful sunsets in the world every night on the beach, this is paradise. Definitely either bring food or prepare to drive a ways for groceries. And I'd recommend a 4WD vehicle or ATVs. You don't need one to get around town as Bombay Beach has paved roads, but you'll definitely get more out of the area if you can off-road. The home itself is a liiiittle on the narrow side, but it's more spacious than I expected from the photos. A group would be a bit squeezed but for solo travel or a couple it's a good size. You should also try talk to people around town! Everyone I met was super chill and welcoming and if you keep to yourself, you'll miss out on most of the experience of this place.

Quick in and out one-nighter on Christmas eve. First time at Bombay beach. All good vibes. Tao's place was perfect up and down. In terms of the community and beach- words really can't do it. Totally unique. Totally unpretentious. Alot of expression. I left really admiring this type of living. Hope to be back soon.

We loved our stay at Bombay Beach, had a lot of fun at Ski Inn with the locals, looked at art along the beach, went hiking nearby, and loved coming back to this cozy place. It was almost a shame there was so much to do around us - it would have been great at this place alone.
