Tara was a super host, she provided lots of useful information, about where to eat and visit. The room was amazing, very clean and beautifully decorated. The little extras in the room were also lovely. The beds came with electric blankets! (So cosy!)The toiletries had an amazing smell. I will most definitely be back for a stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.
A lovely annex in a cottage in Muthill village. The room is clean, comfortable and well furnished. Tara and her rather shy spaniel Alfie are friendly, welcoming hosts. Muthill is a pretty village with a nice restaurant (but a bit pricey). A great place to stay while exploring central Scotland, with Stirling, Perth and the Trossacks all within easy travelling distance. We would certainly recommend it
Tara’s accommodation was excellent, very clean and everything you needed was provided. Tara also provided a breakfast tray of fruit and cereals each morning She was very attentive without being overbearing and was very helpful when it came to local restaurants etc I will definitely look to stay here again when I return to the area

Wonderful wee Muthill, conservation village and home to Drummond Castle and gardens where Outlander where filmed!!!
Strathearn Wool Studio is nearby and Crieff is a short drive to the north.
Dine at the multiple award winning Barley Bree or taste handmade pizzas and ice-cream at McLean’s in the village followed by a wee nip in the village pub.
A trip further afield will take you to Loch Earn and Killin to the West, Pitlochry and Aberfeldy to the north and of course the cosmopolitan centers of Perth and Stirling are less than a half hour drive away.
Golf enthusiasts can play a round at Gleneagles or are equally welcome to visit Muthill Golf Club.
Muthill is located on the main tourist route to Pitlochry from Fife, Stirling and the Central Belt.
There is direct vehicular access to the property and on-street parking is available immediately outside. Covered parking is available in the garage but as this is via a shared drive it must be booked in advance please.
There are regular bus services from Crieff to Stirling and Dunblane via Muthill. Our nearest train station is Gleneagles and Perth is a 25 min drive along the A9.
Perfect location for exploring the Highlands and Loch Lomond and the Trossachs - Loch Earn and Loch Tay are both nearby and offer wonderful sailing and water sports with St Fillans, Killin, Kenmore, Aberfeldy and Pitlochry beyond. With Drummond Castle and Gardens on the doorstep visitors are spoiled for choice!!!
