This was my second time staying in the same room. I ski on an IKON pass, drive up from RI on Sunday morning, ski the afternoon at Killington then drive to Brandon and check in. There's an area rug and enough room to do my pilates and stretching routine, then shower, and go out for dinner. I tried the River Cafe, but discovered at 7:05 that they stop serving on Sunday at 7:00, so I walked across to the Cafe Provence, sat at the bar had a delicious seafood stew and a pleasant chat with a fellow also having dinner at the bar. Then back to the room, read for a while, then slept in a very comfortable bed. Breakfast at Mae's Place then back to Killington for my final day of the season. Shannon's room is small but comfortable and affordable. There's a breakfast nook, where I made a cup of tea, but, it's basically a place to sleep for a good price close to skiing. I have Sunday and Monday off, so it's perfect for me. I plan to do this again next season.

Shannon was very helpful in organizing our stay, and was also very responsive as we arranged our arrival.

Shannon's place was as described in the listing. It was very clean and comfortable. The house is close to the center of the town, which is a very nice place to explore too. Shannon was responsive every time we had a question and very attentive. We enjoyed our stay and would happily go back.

Shannon is an excellent host. Communication was both clear cordial, and she was very quick to respond to any question. Our stay was used as a “base” to ski a couple of sections of the Catamount trail. Logistically speaking, we could not have been in a better location. Especially with the center of Brandon just around the corner. Without question, I would stay there again.
