Bellaterra was the perfect place to gather with lifelong friends and celebrate my 60th birthday! It is a beautiful and private setting with a view of and short walk to the beach. The house is comfortable but we lived under the beautiful lanai and ate outside almost every night. For our needs, the house was well equipped. We especially enjoyed cooking local seafood. Beds are very comfortable. There were 9 of us, so the layout was perfect. Several had to work while there, and the wifi worked well. We found a cooking class in Todos Santos one day at El Refugio Mezcaleria. So good, memorable and fun! Jane and Ruth offered several suggestions which were spot on. Bonjour Madame is a cute little cafe close by.They prepared quiches and salads for our first night which we picked up on the way in. We spent one day at Aureo Wellness for pilates and bodywork and then Cerritos beach for the rest of the day! Super relaxing vacation! Jane is very responsive. We would definitely love to come back!

Beautiful property but definitely a mixed experience. Pros: The house is beautiful with amazing views and relatively easy beach access. The kitchen inside and out were both great as well. Cons: The day we arriving we were told there wasn’t any water on the property because the cisterns were all empty. Because of this we had no running water and the toilets could only be flushed once each. The properties response to this was to bring us one jug of water a few after a we arrived and telling us to refill the toilet tanks with water from the pool… The tanks were filled the following morning but it made the first night there miserable for the few people in our group who were feeling sick. They have also changed the locks recently and we didn’t have keys to all the outdoor locks. Also the main door isn’t able to be locked from inside the house so we couldn’t lock up the house at night. Also the top and bottom floors are separate and can’t be accessed from inside.
