Overall this was a great house for a girl's trip. The house is large and inviting and the kitchen was nicely equipped. Very convenient to Acadia and to Bar Harbor. Comfortable beds with individually temperature controlled rooms, so everyone was able to sleep comfortably. The only negative comments - the water pressure suffered when more than one person was showering at a time, one of the showers wasn't as clean as we would have liked, and there wasn't enough toilet paper to last more than a day. We would definitely stay here again.

What a great house and a great location! We loved being able to walk in to Acadia National Park or catch the shuttle by walking from the house. Location is ideal! We had a wonderful trip! I did find the room layout on the listing to be misleading, so just take note that there is only one bunk bed in the bunk bed room. There are not two like the picture shows. That was one of our issues because we had planned for 2 bunk beds for our kids. There were two pull out couches we could use, however, there was not enough bedding to make them both up. That may be something to chat with the hosts about if necessary. Our kids are pretty easy going, so we made do. The location really made up for the bed issue! Have fun!

We really enjoyed our trip. The hosts worked with us when airbnb cancelled our reservation which we did appreciate. Communicating with them about issues during the stay could use some improvement. But overall it was clean and the property was beautiful. More importantly acadia is beautiful if you have never been. I would recommend this listing if asked.

This house is so perfect for a family or group of friends. We had 6 of us (2 couples, 2 single) and slept so comfortably with sooo much extra space. The deck overlooks a cute little stream which was so calming and serene to look out at in the mornings, especially with the beautiful fall foliage surrounding the backyard. The kitchen and living spaces are huge and allowed all of us to comfortably hang out during the day/night when we weren't out hiking or walking around downtown Bar Harbor. Its a perfect location if you're looking to do some hiking in Acadia and some touring around Bar Harbor. Maybe a 5 to 10 min drive to most of the main trailheads and about the same drive into town. Communication was great and check-in/check-out were super easy. Highly recommend, would 100% stay here again next time we're in the area. Thank you so much for an amazing week!

This house is great and couldn’t be in a better location RIGHT next to the entrance to Acadia and less than a mile from downtown bar harbor. It was incredibly clean and plenty of room for our party of 6 (plus 2 kids). We would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.
