We're situated in a small neighbourhood surrounded by paddy fields. A Buddhist temple, the Andugoda Viharaya, steeped on a hil ,is the landmark to turn right towards our home.
Follow the road which cuts across paddy fields and you arrive to a small primary school, Andugoda Vidyalaya.
No sooner you pass the school you reach the foot our property, Casa Azul.
- The neigbourhood is ideal for long walks and cycling since roads are quiet and the air clean. There are beautiful tanks, a meditation centre and numerous paddy lands to explore.
- Since our home is set in a small village community where everyone turns in early, we prefer to lock the gates by 2200. Should you end up at a beach party on the coast, it is advised to stay on till the break of dawn and return back home after 530am, upon sunrise.
- Seeking favours, or procuring services (tuk tuk rides, scooter hires etc) from the immediate neighbourhood is not advised since it can lead to unnecessary complications and over familiarity which, once forged is difficult to untangle.
