The Gambero apartment has everything you need for a short or long stay in Vicenza. It’s situated literally around the corner from the Basilica Palladiana and close to all of the cities main attractions. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the train station making it easy to use Vicenza as a home base and visit other surrounding cities for day trips. Host Guilia was very friendly and responsive. We had a power failure one evening and she responded very quickly to my message with instructions on how to fix the problem. The only negative during our stay at Gambero apartment was the late night noise from people out on the street and a few neighbours in the building which kept us awake sometimes until after 2am. But I guess this is the luck of the draw when staying in such a downtown location.

My wife and I stayed at the BRE apartment for three nights in September as part of an eight-week trip to Italy. Vicenza is a wonderful city with great food, really nice people, many UNESCO world heritage sites by the architect Palladio and great museums. The city center is very walkable and quite beautiful. Located just a block or so away from the Palladian Basilica and the Duomo, the surprisingly quiet apartment was easily one of the best locations during our trip. The large bed was very comfortable and and the WiFi was strong. There are many restaurants and bars within a five minute walk from the apartment and the train station is only a half mile away. Our hosts were extremely responsive and even replaced a broken coffee maker the same morning as requested. Remote check in was seamless. I highly recommend staying in this very comfortable, one-bedroom apartment while visiting Vicenza.
