Beautiful and spacious apartment equipped with everything one could need. We loved the charm of the entire place and the central location while remaining calm inside. We slept very well. Nastassja was always very responsive and kind. Highly recommended!

We cannot praise the Eleanore apartment highly enough or the welcome and support we received from the Clarkes and the townspeople of Forcalquier. Every detail was thought of at the apartment from high quality Aesop toiletries and crisp linens to kitchen equipment, coffee capsules and basics to cook with. there are books, games, comfy seats and the cool, charming inner courtyard was a sanctuary from heat and busy streets. my favourite spot was the day bed complete with big white linen cushions and a view of the night sky to die for. The cobbled Street is characteristically old French village with shuttered tall buildings, naturally cool with cross breezes. Forcalquier was everything we could have wished for away from the more touristy areas of Provence, friendly restaurateurs and boulangerie. try La Source bakery and Les Bas Alpins small plates. Ideal for vegetarians like us. the market is also fantastic. The Clarkes also have great maps and the walking in the area is wonderful.

The apartment was charming, clean and very comfortable despite the heat outside. Ample parking nearby. The old part of Forcalquier is a lovely village with a big Monday morning market. Nastassja is a very considerate host! We definitely recommend.
