This was the perfect place to end our trip to St. Lucia. We wish we had been able to stay longer than we did; we found it very peaceful and relaxing. Despite our short time there, it felt like we were welcomed into Lenora and McGarvin's home. We didn't get the oportunity to try any of her home cooking but we did smell it. Next time! It felt like a very unique opportunity to enjoy a more...Local Experience...as a part of their family home. We met some of their family, neighbors and pets! There is a nice outdoor seating space with a pool, gardens, private patio, a spacious interior with all the amenities you'd need to be self sufficient. Lenora was welcoming and kind. She arranged our driver to the airport upon checkout. McGarvin was lovely to talk with and hear more about their family and their lives. We recommend staying here for a more Local Experience on St. Lucia and will stay here when we return! Wishing you and your family all the best Lenora!

Great place to stay. 5 minute walk to a local beach and 10 minute drive to several other beaches. Not many tourists in this area. Hosts family will cook THE BEST FOOD for a very fair price. The food we ate there was the best and most affordable that we had on our trip (and quite possibly in my lifetime). Short walk to a river that feeds into the ocean. Very peaceful to sit and enjoy the breeze underneath the trees on the river. The pool was nice for our children too. Our stay here was just enough of everything.

My husband and I lOVED our stay at the Local Experience. Lerona's family was immediately welcoming and created a real "homecoming" feeling. They were all respectful of our privacy and still inclusive, giving us suggestions about the area and answering questions. The children are adorable and fun. Miss Winnie made dinner for us two nights out of three... the food was delicious and we enjoyed having some time to talk with her as well. The first night of our stay, Lerona's partner, McGarvin, climbed up and cut some coconuts for us--we had coconut juice with our dinner and a couple to put in the frig for more. We stayed in the apartment which had everything we needed and was very quiet, with a nice outdoor space to hang out in. We didn't spend time in the pool as we were there a short time with other things planned, but it looked lovely and relaxing. It's easy to drive from this location to many of the area activities. A grocery store is 5 minutes away. We hope to come back!

This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. Lerona and her family (her sweet children, husband, mother, father, sister, cousin) did everything they could to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had some lovely meals prepared by Lerona’s mom, Winnie, and a variety of delicious fruit from their trees! There were so many extras that made this a unique experience: a visit to the school across the street; Independence Day celebrations; a visit to their farm; rescue pick ups when we could not get a bus; coconuts delivered to our door; and impromptu interactions with the children. The accommodation itself has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We asked for a couple of kitchen items and they were provided immediately. The plunge pool is a bonus and the lounge area is very relaxing. Buses stop right at the end of the lane and are easy to use to get to Soufriere and Vieux Fort. Thank you Lerona and family for a memorable stay!
