The Long House is a listed building soaked in history and character. It is spacious and features an inglenook fireplace, wood-burning stove, oak beams and panelled dining area. It has two bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, large lounge plus small kitchen and its own enclosed garden. It sleeps up to 10 people and is spacious and homely set in 4 acres of grounds and gardens with a children's play area, walled garden, small woodland and duckpond (fenced off) along with our 5 other stone and slate cottages The Longhouse is a character cottage located on the Waunifor Estate along with our other 5 cottages and surrounded by lovely grounds and along a quiet country lane. We are 30-40 minutes drive from the beaches of Cardigan Bay and within easy reach of the attractions around Carmarthen, Cardigan, Aberaeron and Lampeter. Ideally situated on the border between Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion, Waunifor is twenty minutes walk from the unspoilt river Teifi.

Amazing gem at such a great price! Would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway with a group of friends!
We spent an amazing weekend in this place. cottage is so cozy, spacious, clean and warm. Fireplace is such a bonus, we spent wonderful family evenings chatting in front of it :) We had a little private garden, where we could do a BBQ, and just few meters away there was a kids playground, very small, but kids really appreciated it. There surroundings are spectacular, a lot of trails just within a short drive. David is so welcoming and friendly, thank you for being such a nice host. Just one regret... we couldn't stay longer:) but we wold love to come back.
Absolutely peaceful place. We stayed in the big house for 3 nights and kids really enjoyed the place. Shops are 10-15 mins drive from the place. House was well Maintained. Big thank you to David, we reached the place at 23:30 due to traffic and some incidents on the motorway but he was there to receive us with happy face.
Absolutely stunning place to stay, very peaceful and tranquil. Great communication from David & Lynette. We had 3 generations staying and everyone had a great time. We are definitely looking to book again.
What can I say, an absolute fabulous place, we have stayed here many times before with family and it doesn’t disappoint every time. The local amenities are great with Llandysul shops close by to get all your groceries. The pubs and restaurants are great and first class entertainment and hosting, the Welsh always are welcoming. We stayed here with friends and had a great game of hide and seek with the kids, so many places to hide 🤣 My family and I love this place. Peacefull, just what you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! The local beaches are a must visit, the coastal walk from Aberporth across to Tresaith is great with a nice pub for refeshments at midway. Great for the dogs and not too difficult for young children, the coastal path although muddy is very safe for children to walk. We will always come back here. Thank you David and Lynette

Waunifor is situated in a very quiet location, the access road is only occasionally used by locals, we are next door to a small dairy farm. There are outdoor activities available in the local area including canoeing, rafting, rock climbing and coasteering at nearby Llandysul Paddlers; water sports at New Quay on the Cardigan Bay coast; Bird of Prey handling at nearby Pant Glas in Rhos or Paintballing and Outdoor Laser Combat at Cenarth Adventure Centre. There are several local riding stables and trekking centres offering rides across the magnificent and wild Llanlwni Mountain and through Brechfa Forest. Brechfa Forest also has many excellent mountain bike trails.
In addition we can provide information about a whole range of activities available in the local area.
Waunifor is most easily accessible by car. There are bookable bus services which will collect and deliver by pre arrangement.
